Duty of Care

Recent government legislation means that staff cars that are even only occasionally used for business (the grey fleet) can represent a serious risk to the business. This includes vehicles driven by staff on opt out or cash for car schemes. The Health and Safety Act 1974 and the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Acts 2007 mean that the business is obliged to implement effective controls to manage this risk. Vehicles driven on the Hollyfield Benefits scheme are always less than four years old so you can be confident that they are properly maintained and roadworthy, taxed and fit for purpose. As cars are new they will always have manufacturer's warranty and incorporate the latest passive and active safety features. We can suggest some basic, simple processes to help manage your grey fleet and make you aware of the legislation. We manage the whole process once the scheme has been launched to members, so there is no onus at all on your organisation � there are no setup charges, no administration, and no risk. Our benefits consultants deal with everything from member applications and vehicle orders, through to delivery and collection. Credit checking is managed by ourselves and our funders. Even if an employee leaves your business, there's no issue as the agreement is directly between the member and the funder. A totally pain free exercise for your business.

We'll set up a unique user name and password, and customise the benefits pages to reflect your brand. If you have your own website or intranet, its also useful to set up a link directly to the log in page of our site to make it easier for your people to access Hollyfield Benefits. Once members have had the chance to browse the fantastic offers we have available we encourage them to send an enquiry directly from the site. Of course, many people prefer to speak to someone, and our friendly, professional staff are available at the end of a phone during office hours to answer any questions and to help guide your people through the process.

Communicate

Hollyfield Benefits is a voluntary benefits scheme, rather than a flexible benefits scheme. As members don't sacrifice salary there's no record-keeping or overhead implications for Payroll or HR.
